The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) and Zenzic will unveil a strategic vision for UK road-based mobility by 2040, outlining how transport will evolve into a ‘seamless, integrated ecosystem’.

On 19 February 2026, APC and Zenzic will launch a comprehensive ‘Future of Mobility’ report that outlines a cross-sector strategy aimed at decarbonising transport in accordance with net zero commitments.

Mobility in the future will not just be about vehicles but entire systems. By 2040, transport will converge with energy and digital infrastructure, creating a predictable, sustainable, and inclusive network

Registrations are now open for Future of Mobility launch webinar: 19 February 2026 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM GMT.

A panel of industry experts will explore three foundational shifts in the future of mobility. These shifts include interoperability and open standards, integrated energy transport systems, and user-centred design.

Moreover, the strategic pillars of orchestrated intelligence, regenerative mobility, living infrastructure, and inclusive and resilient mobility will also be touched upon. The future of mobility will see key enablers such as AI frameworks, circular economy principles, and outcome-based funding.
